How to Make It

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 4 teaspoons cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla (optional)

Preparation

1
Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix just until smooth. Do not over-mix. Over-mixing will cause separation in the freezing process.
2
Pour mixture into freezer popsicle containers and freeze for four hours or until firm.
Recipe Tips

Do not give honey to a child under one year of age. This recipe can be made with soy milk for a dairy-free option.

No popsicle molds? No problem! Pour the mixture into an ice cube tray, cover it with foil and insert popsicle sticks. If you have leftover mix, add some ice and blend it into a smoothie.
