How to Make It
Ingredients
- One 14.75-ounce can pink salmon
- 1 large egg
- ¾ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
Preparation
Salmon makes a great, healthy finger food for babies and toddlers learning to self-feed. Try making smaller patties or cutting them into pieces that are easy to hold. Canned salmon contains highly nutritious bones that are soft and chewable. If you have concerns, mash the soft bones with a fork or remove large pieces during preparation.
These can also be made using an air fryer!
- Prepare patties following steps above.
- Preheat air fryer to 390 degrees.
- Once the air fryer is ready, carefully spray basket with cooking oil.
- Add patties to basket and spray tops of patties with cooking oil.
- Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking time. When done, the patties should be golden brown and crispy.
