Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup of shredded cabbage
  • ½ cup shredded carrot
  • 1 small apple, unpeeled and chopped
  • ¼ cup raisins or dried cranberries (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons non-fat plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons low-fat mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

In a medium bowl, combine carrots, apple and raisins or cranberries.

In a small bowl, mix the yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice and sugar together.

Add yogurt sauce to cabbage mixture and toss to blend.
